The Pacific rollers at Oceanside

Landon went off to daycare this morning. He’s with his mum now until after school on Wednesday when we’ll pick him up until Friday morning

So the day was our own. A leisurely start with coffee in the warm sunshine at Peet’s at Bressi Ranch where we collected a sandwich for lunch at Sprouts.

We headed off to Oceanside to find a trail along Buccaneer Beach to Tyson Lane Park and along Oceanside beach to the harbour. We found it, of sorts but it was our luck to find a large section of the trail and beach out of use owing to overrunning beach improvement works.

The harbour was it usual interesting self. A couple of sea lions were gambolling amongst the moored boats including one magnificent bull which I’ve included as an extra.

Ive had trouble this week having the right number of onions for recipes. Tonight was no exception. I had no onions. A trip to Ralph’s supermarket was needed. I took Chris’s bike. Fine on the way down, hard work on the way back up.
