Same hotel, different view. This would have been wasted on us last night as we really crashed soon after arriving. This was taken at silly o’clock as we were being picked up to travel to a 9am Funeral on the other side of the harbour. Our lovely daughter picked us up from the Hotel and we appreciated being chauffeured and good to see her too.

We were happy to be there to support the family especially our grandchildren losing their “other Pop”. It’s always nice to catch up with the extended family even if it under such sad circumstances. We don’t know that part of the city and went to new suburbs that I have never heard of. We caught a train from near the wake at 1pm. Now after a few connections we wait for our third connection at Katoomba. We get home at 6.30. We will appreciate trying out our new bed tonight.
