Tiny skink

Most of the bugs and grubs that have abounded in the garden all summer seem to have packed it in. The equinox must have been the turning point. I was going to pop up to the park for more variety but I was too busy knitting. This unborn baby's blanket is quite a construction but at least I've come to terms with the complicated pattern, after some overwhelming frustration and saying some swear words. Loudly.

I was happy to find this little reptile enjoying the sun. They seem to be around all year.
