Herbs Announced In Glass

I have to add the next five entries to catch up! As always I had taken an appropriate Blipfoto, however, we were subjected to quite a prolonged interval of disrupted broadband.

This often happens over the holiday period.

Today’s Blipfoto features an empty bottle of gin. Quite a handsome bottle. The glass surface is covered in the names of the sea herbs which are used to give the gin a unique character.

Foraged Island Botanicals covers herbs from a variety of places on the island.

Gins are a great topic of conversation amongst many of Pat’s friends. Judging by the rapid increase in distilleries gin is a great topic amongst many people.

Pat is a great collector of glass containers of all shapes and sizes and she uses these to store a wide range of ingredients she uses in her culinary and baking exploits. This particular gin bottle will be reused as a container. True recycling.
