Herons and a bride

It was an early visit to Birdland for me to get some promo shots of the new Penguin area. The old adage of never work with children or animals was never truer as the new South African penguins were camera shy. Perseverance paid off and when the keeper used the power washer to wash the pen they waddled down to where I needed them. A few herons were hanging around the park as always (they come for the fish that the captive birds get fed) and I liked this shot and the one in extras. Also in extras a couple getting their photos done in the village.
