Water Vole Release...

So this is the release pen for the water voles - arriving later this month. It's getting pretty exciting! 20 voles will arrive and will be put into 5 'soft release' pens. So what you see is a box, with no underneath. The top keeps them safe until they feel comfortable enough to burrow their way out. The box is on soft soil so that it's possible. Inside the box will be food (apples) and bedding.
