Portland Vistas

We've been living in Portland just over a year and a half now, and we still marvel at how beautiful it is here. Without fail, when we told our Californian friends that we were moving, they shook their heads and wondered how we would be able to handle the "weather". Without fail, we now shake our heads and wonder how people can live anywhere else.

This is a shot taken from our front lawn looking at Mt. Hood. The beautiful garden you see is our neighbours' across the street. I like the way it frames the view. The dark jaggies in the top right corner is their roof line. This was also the only angle I could get without showing power lines (which are my biggest peeve about taking pictures around our neighbourhood.).
