Bamboo

The weather improved a little from solid rain to sunshine and showers.

I enjoyed a leisurely sushi based lunch and we headed to the sports bar at 5pm

We were very happy to be served cold bottled beers for more than one round. At 8 we were told that there would be at least a 40 minute wait for the French restaurant so opted instead for the grill.

It was.going well until our.main courses arrived before we had finished our starters. Mr RIU asked what he was supposed to do with it, balancing the bowl of half finishes soup on top of his salmon burger. The waiter announced 'very.quick, very quicks and took the soup away from him, laughing as if the speed of service was something to be pleased about.

We ate our main course and left the restaurant,.once again disappointed. I had wanted another attempt at a brandy snap but settled for a take out ice.cream from the coffee shop instead.

The TUI rep has not got back to me about an earlier flight home.
