The Picture Gallery
This is another blip of the inside of Glasgow City Chambers, the civic heart of the city of Glasgow.
The Picture Gallery is at the top of the building and is where the portraits of all the former Lord Provosts of the city hang. It's such an interesting space and quite beautiful.
As you look round each Lord Provost you see the change in style. For example from the early 1970s to the early 1990s the portraits are photographs. Then Lord Provost Tommy Dingwall decided, at the end of his time in office, that he wanted a painted portrait and so the trend has continued to the present day.
There's even a portrait by Peter Howson!
