A view from St Swithin

At the beach

I’d a cold and fairly windy walk along the beach today. Due to the weekends activities B had been in kennels and he really enjoyed a good old run on a fairly quiet stretch of sand at low tide.
The wooden stakes in the sand are the remains (I think) of the poles that used to hold the inshore fishing nets. I dimly remember lines of nets along the coast used to catch salmon - in the days when these were plentiful.
