To make an end

'What we call the beginning is often the end
And to make an end is to make a beginning.
The end is where we start from...
Every phrase and every sentence is an end and a beginning,
Every poem an epitaph. ' Little Gidding' - from The Four Quartets
An end in magnificence for one 'little old lady' meeting her maker with the company of a nation looking on.
It seemed to me a well toned contemporary take on the traditional BCP funeral with all the strangely comforting yet also slightly jarring embellishments of state and military rituals.
We won't see this again in our lifetime for a PM.
