Coming into land at SLC

It was hard to know what to pack for our trip to Utah, when a couple of days will be getting to 78F, and others will struggle to get much above 50F, with one night dipping below freezing! Anyway, we finally got the bags packed with a variety of clothing, hiking boots and hiking poles, etc, and were on our way down to the airport. We arrived in good time, which was a good thing, since the line through security was pretty long. We had time for a coffee and a scone, and finally took off about 5.50pm. It was a direct flight with Delta, and pretty full. Jen and Jason arrived very soon after we had picked up our bags and got outside . It had been a nice sunny day, but was beginning to cloud over, though it was still quite warm. However, in the time we were having dinner at an Indian restaurant downtown, the wind had really picked up, and the temperature had fallen noticeably. We are sleeping at an AirBnB, as they only have a small house, and Jason’s Mum and Laura are coming in on Thursday, so Laura will stay with us, and Jason’s Mum will stay with them.
