Bird Man!

Today I went to visit my friend Joe. He has raised and raced homing pigeons all his life. I had a chance to watch the birds and see them in their habitat. The most tender moment was when I saw how gently this man handled the birds.
It was so interesting to watch them flying around in the sky and always coming back to their coop. Joe also has free range chickens and he raises parakeets and canaries. Some of them are very rare. I will go back when the canaries start to hatch babies and try to get some good shots then.

It was very sunny today, but still a chill in the air from wind. The news has stated a possible arrest being made in the marathon bombings, but nothing certain yet.
