Margaret Thatcher's funeral

This is Northumberland Avenue in London (where I work) about an hour before the whole thing started.

We live in a country where in the last three years significant cuts have been made to core services and the arts (just the arts have lost 11.6 million this year so far). This charade today cost that same country 10 million pounds.

That is not only WRONG, it is DISGUSTING.

If you want to bury your Mum with respect then do so. But if you want us to respect you while you do that, then respect the rest of us and don't steal our money to do it with.
