The Poplars…..,

An early walk for Maisie and me. She was wearing her illuminated dog collar with its red flashing lights. As usual, on these chillier autumn mornings, there was mist rising from the distant stretches of Doctors Creek. The two big poplar trees have lost their leaves…. Almost overnight. I love seeing trees in their winter garb. I spent time this morning on the phone trying to get an appointment at a Podiatrist for Keith.. The soonest he can be seen is 30th of June. Marlborough is very short of podiatry services. If Keith needs earlier attention we may have to drive to Nelson..
