These houses are opposite each other near the oldest house in the town. The red brick one is dated 1750. They would have been the houses of the men making a fortune from the silk industry. One is offices now and the stone one is divided into apartments etc. 
Norm went back to the dentist today and he doesn’t have to have his tooth out. They didn’t charge him anything so obviously they think it was due to the scale that the other dentist carried out.
