Hoverfly?

I could hear a buzzing in the greenhouse, spotted this little chap, offered my finger and it obliged by stepping on board so that I could take it outside.  I placed it on a Choisya flower where it stayed until I could get my camera.  It then stepped back on my finger for a few shots before flying off.

We have very welcome rain.
