Today they had mostly finished working on the new stables at the hippodrome. The dog was curious so we went for a look - as you do. My framing it's pretty wonky, but you get a feel for the place. The roof is corrugated zinc (popular in France) with corrugated plastic (? polycarbonate) at the apex to let light in. There are two stables like this, and as no horses had been in when I took this picture it's as clean as it's ever going to be!
