Rosa Banksiae

Back at the park I saw the gardener today and asked him what the climber was in this picture which I have posted before. It really is a rose!

This is the plant from a different view showing the roots into the ground and the tendrils that are climbing. They have trimmed the outside as it was growing outward over the nearby tables! Such a beautiful rose climber.
