Lettuce bed

One job ticked off the list today (there have been many, things are really speeding up now!) is sowing and planting the lettuce bed.

It has rows of mixed lettuce, purslane, chicory, rocket and dwarf beans. It'll be interesting to see what comes up and what does well.

This means I've now got 2 of the 4 new beds at the back of the plot planted out: Bed 1 with onions and Bed 2 with mixed leaves. 

Bed 3 will have sprouting broccoli and kale and Bed 4 will have carrots and leeks.
