Day out

We took the nearly three year old Broden to the Botanical Gardens in Dawyck not far from here.  He had a sleep in the car journey there, had a chocolate cookie when we arrived, did some tree hugging, chased some pheasants and, after a short while, made it clear that he wanted to go home.  He did not share our delight of the rhodies and the rain which were turning their petals translucent.  Understandable.
