Alien

This plant looks very alien like - particularly the decayed stamen thingy! Plants are not my strong point so that is the best descriptive term I can manage.

I decided to brave a plod around the top of campus through some nice leafy lanes. I was hoping Spring would mean it wasn’t too muddy underfoot but I was pushing my luck on one extra shady stretch. That hadn’t dried up enough yet so I returned to my desk with rather muddy footwear
