Kitty On Duty

This is our local farm and feed store where I get my bird food and squirrel peanuts. The kitty on the cash register probably is employed to keep the mice away from the feed, but I think he also doubles as a greeter and good will ambassador. He's obviously pretty content whatever his duties are. There's another cat in the store too and it's pretty common to find one or both of them curled up asleep in the glove display or testing one of the cat beds. I love any store that has an animal in residence. There's another feed store that I buy more squirrel peanuts from and the owner there always has a bird on her shoulder. Haven't been able to get a picture of them yet but I'm working on it.
