Police Scotland only have one police helicopter and that is based in Glasgow.  Therefore there had to be a good reason why it was slowly circling over the centre of Kirkcaldy for an extended period of time this morning.

Police Scotland have only said : "Four men have been arrested in connection with drugs offences after a warrant was executed."

However, posts on social media are suggesting that this was a planned raid to bust a large cannabis farm inside an empty High Street shop formerly occupied by W H Smith.

I know that Local Authorities are looking for new ways to revitalise their High Streets but I don't think this is what they wanted.
