This cherry is always a stunner when it flowers.

Today was the day to break the news to the afternoon customers that I could no longer work on their garden. My original Wednesday customers, who moved out just over a year ago, now have an almost complete garden at their new property and it's going to require the whole day rather than half. I had explained this might happen when they moved in, I've offered to work the rest of May before leaving which they want and they very kindly asked if I could visit once a month to offer advice on what needs doing.

Having had a virtual free rein to do what I want there for almost 10 years I will miss it but the new property is an exciting prospect.
