Wednesday: Blue

We had a spontaneous invitation over to the boys tonight which was lovely. It’s been an intense day at work so a night out was definitely welcome.  This shot, taken en route, is a tad lazy.  It’s a bit Canadian and the flowers are blossoming which is all there is to recommend it.

But we were reminded tonight that Ottawa is definitely a village.  Tom and Kevin had another friend, Ross, over for dinner tonight.  Ross knows my former boss, from Croatia, who lives just down the road from us.  Tom knows my ex-boss too.  Ross’ sister lives opposite us - as in, literally, right opposite us.  And Tom met my current boss at dinner last night…..
