Wildlife in the Garden
Sorry, the scenic tour has ended and normal life resumes.
I thought this was going to be the usual talk on how to attract butterflies and bees in to your garden but no!!
John here told us in great detail, who ate what, who laid their eggs on what, which sneaky parasite lays eggs in the caterpillars of the cabbage moth. The keen gardeners amongst the audience wanted to know if they could buy it, sadly no. Which slugs were carnivores, about the lacewing larvae which hoover up aphids like an elephant trunk without the elephant and much more along those lines. I'll be looking in my garden very much more carefully from now on
