Chocolate Girls (part one)
Remember I did this shoot with Jess?
Jess Cocoa Part 1
Jess Cocoa Part 2
As the names suggest it was shot in a beautiful chocolate and sweet emporium in Sheffield. Jess knew the two girls that own the shop and had arranged to do the shoot there. I was over the moon as its a true place of wonder, colour and gorgeousness!
That night I met Kate, One of the owners and she was very complimentary of the shots she was looking at (on the back of the camera) Once she had seen the finished shoot she contacted me to see if I would be interested in doing the same sort of shoot for her and her business partner. We had to get easter out of the way (busy time for cholateers and bunnies) and we arranged a meeting for last night in my office (or the Lescar pub - the same place I met Jess originally to talk about her shoot)
The girls are the loveliest people ever and its testament to them that their little shop has been going strong for seven years. What makes "Cocoa" so special is not only the wonderment of the place but the girls them selves and their friendship. We came up with some bonkers ideas for the shoot involving everything from marshmallow fights to blowing hundreds and thousands to being wrapped in ribbons to covered in chocolate (it all sounds a bit messy) but one thing is for sure... its going to be so much fun...
Thank you to Anne and Kate - I cant wait! Watch this blip space!
On a side note : The Lescar is the worst place to be able to take pictures although I DO like the copper covered tables...
