Purples

On a whim after my Y pool workout, I called my pal Marilyn and said let's go see the tulips! So off we went on our spontaneous adventure...one of many up there if possible in the next week! I didn't really get a great opportunity last year so , before I'm back in the hospital bed and post knee surgery laid up, I want to take advantage of good weather days! They are few and far between.

We took a couple back roads circumventing some tour buses and more trafficked areas...we were even able to park alongside some fields before the mobs got there. Always a sensual delight to see the array of colors on display in the Skagit Valley. Happy Hump Day!
