The road home
Yesterday is backblipped.
You always know when you're nearly there thanks to the pylons ... haven't blipped one for ages. Most people didn't show up for the Thursday walk, but T, M and I did, so we decided to go anyway, a circuit to Fabrezan and back. M has very long legs and T, though petite, is a quicker walker than I am, but I managed to keep up, just.
We had all shown up kitted out for bright sunshine -- short sleeves, no jackets or hats -- so we were a bit alarmed when it started spitting rain. But happily the sun returned, the clouds driven away by the strong headwind. It was a brisk walk: 8.4 km, no climbing to speak of, 2 hours exactly. Knackered again now, but I'm doing well at getting the kilometres in. An evening's chilling at home is now required.
