Proud Mum!

And so she should be. I popped in past Pitfour Lake in case there were any swans about to take off but I was more than delighted when I saw my first ducklings of the year.
They were pretty small so probably only a couple of days old.
I wonder why young water birds tend to be more attractive than most other young birds.
Or are they!!
