Poppy on the pavement

The poppy plant between the edge of my drive and the pavement is now coming into flower. I went for my first post-surgery run today, three months on. I re-joined a local group for the over 50s that does a couch to 5K, so that I could ease back in gently. It felt fine, and good to be jogging/running again.
