Korea Day 4: Northern propaganda

This is the North Korean propaganda village of Gijeong. No one lives there, it's only purpose is to blast propaganda through huge loudspeakers. It also has the world's tallest flagpole (160m). The flag it flies weighs almost 300kg.

I took this picture on a very interesting tour of the Demilitarized zone and Panmunjom. Don't miss it if you are ever in Korea.
