A green view
Today's skies were gloomy and damp, raining sporadically all day, so there wasn't much to photograph. Here is another shot of the little garden, which has turned a striking green now that the blossoms and flowers are gone.
I had a good visit today with Dr. Tekeste, my nephrologist. He's such a genuinely warm person and takes an interest in the whole me, not just my kidneys. Labs are stable, even a tiny bit improved, and it's looking as if I've got a good while before we even have to think about dialysis. I got a second EPO shot and will get them every two weeks if my weight and blood pressure aren't affected (so far, so good) and my labs remain stable. I felt optimistic when I left.
