A good day

Another good day - you have to take them when you can.
I'm never sure when a day will good which often helps them to be good tbh. Expectations are the killer of all joy.
And today I didn't really have any expectations because I didn't have a clue what was supposed to be happening except that we were Freckle sitting at some point so Jennie and Adam could go on a date for the first time in forever. O and that we were picking up a chain saw for Rob in the morning.

So once chain saw has been collected, Adam messaged to suggest that we go for a walk with them. We planted the cars in carefully picked places and set off. It ended up being a 5 miler which was great, so I've now done two pretty long walks in preparation for my Shine walk in September. Scenery was lovely although I don't see much of it as I have to continually look at the ground to see where to put my feet but the oil seed rape field was magnificent. Not quite as tall as me but getting on for and walking through it was amazing.
Went to the pub when we finished which was lovely and quiet and had the most beautiful wine glasses. After our drink we went back to #66 to do our dog sitting duties - not a duty at all, he is just the sweetest boy. Jennie and Adam went off to Canterbury and had a bloody lovely evening by all accounts, and we had an M&S concoction meal with more wine - well more wine for me as Rob was driving.
Watched the last of D.I.Ray and I'm hoping there will be more. Another good detective series.
