Drama in the skies….

down here at the loch. The male Osprey is always keen to defend his nest and site and he spent half an hour chasing off four persistent Crows. His mate has chicks and is busy keeping them warm and fed. Below on the loch, Goldeneye, Goosanders, Mergansers and Geese carried on unaware of the aerial activity. Primroses grew abundantly under the Birches and Violets and Wood Anemones were in the grass.
