Bay of Ireland (Day 2556)
A marginally later start to the day and a trip out to the wilds of Evie to fit an outside tap. Normally an outside tap takes about an hour and is fairly straightforward. This one, which I was fitting on the outside of an outhouse involved drilling through near enough a metre of stone wall, running 5 metres of pipe and fitting a couple of stopcocks.
I was finished by noon and headed to Rendall to swap a faulty shower valve, then into town to get a couple of bits.
Next a trip to Stromness to sort a minor problem with a loo, and to have a look at another job which I will need to make up a quote for.
Along to Mum and Dad's next to check on a dripping overflow pipe, and to have a catch up and coffee. I took a quick shot of the view before I headed home.
I was surprised by a very brief visit from my beautiful wife as I made my dinner. HV had popped in to collect something before her night at work.
