Looking up...

A good day in many ways, but not for the bookkeeping. Despite good intentions, didn't find time to do any!

Enjoyed a coffee with Jacqui this morning. After overnight rain it was still a bit too wet underfoot to tackle any weeding, so we decided just to sit in  in her garden. We were being a little over-optimistic! Almost immediately a big black cloud covered the sun, and we lasted all of 10 minutes before retreating indoors out of the cooling wind. C'est la vie!

After a bite to eat and tackling a few little chores, I sat down at the computer and wrote an email. All was hunky-dory until pressing 'Send'. The email pinged back with the message 'You no longer have access to the email address ...'.  Noooo! Tried again, but to no avail. It's an address I've used for years, under an alias through gmail. Checked the settings before 'Googling' the problem, only to discover that it's not uncommon, and there's very little you can do about it. Grrr! I can still receive emails, but now need to log in to another account to send them, so it's not a major disaster. It just meant a couple of hours wasted this afternoon.

Yoga in the evening - a nice slow session as a newcomer came along. Lovely to walk there and back in the light. This is the view when I got home just after 8.30pm, looking up at the sky from the confines of our tiny 'yard.
