Lovely Day

The best day according to the weather forecast, although it started a little overcast. We took our folding bikes down to Strathyre and did the great wee loop there using the old and new bits of the NCN 7. Stopped by the River Balvaig to do some sketches in our Small Drawings books. In the afternoon played some tennis on the court next to the B&B and then walked down to the head of Loch Tay (pictured). On the way we saw an Osprey flying over and then as we sat by the loch saw it again twice, or two other birds, on one occasion it was carrying a fish in its talons, although we didn't see it catch it. Walked along a section of the old railway line up to the Falls of Dochart pub for a beer outside in the sun and then a meal inside, before heading back to the B&B.
