Time for a little something

On my way back from a day trip to see Ruth. She gave me a parting gift. With the train having a long stop at Shrewsbury, it seems like a good time for a snack …. although my anticipated slumbers look like being spoiled as I am suddenly surrounded by a hoard of young women with alcohol who’ve joined the train :-/

A good day with Ruth. We got quite a few jobs done … including my dragging another trolley of compost up the hill from Wickes! Just before the rain arrived Ruth cut another chunk from the rotting decking and I tidied up after her.

A working weekend ahead, I really had hoped to snooze away the last hour of the journey …..
