Prickly beauty

Gorgeous cactus flower on our bike ride this morning. Google tells me it's probably a Sclerocactus species, one of which appears to be endemic to Colorado, the other two to Utah. Looks more like the CO species to me, but can't be since we're in Utah ! Whatever, all I know is that is beautiful.
Getting hot this afternoon, already nearly 30 deg C.
