First crop coming up

My asparagus aren't disappointing me. I looked out in the straw the other day and saw they were starting to poke their little heads up. Last weekend I spent a good amount of time weeding them and had 3 spears with dinner. A little sauteed asparagus is so delicious. This is year 4 for the asparagus bed so I should have lots to eat. The best is sauteed with some of our local pork sausage... Yum!!!
