Movement
Definitely have most dizziness when I’m lying down, so had a slowish start this morning but then went for a coffee with CS for more vocabulary-expanding chat.
Spent the rest of the day at home quietly and fairly slowly clearing my inbox and starting on the mountain of reading prep for next week’s meetings.
Suddenly remembered that the downside of having planned to be away this weekend was that I’d miss NDT2 performance here, and luckily found two tickets still available for tonight so bought tickets to take A. Also realised that after the talk about taking AR & Mx to see Lion King in London the show is coming here the week they’re visiting in early June, and I managed to get tickets so that will be fun!
When A got home we popped down for the traditional fish and chips before a performance, chatting to an old guy who was very amusing and interesting who sat on the next table and launched into conversation with us.
The dance was amazing….such precision, complex movements and flow. Not a clue what any of the three pieces were about but just drinking in the amazing movements and marvelling at the skill made them all fabulous. https://youtu.be/ZNS1Yml4ybc We stayed for a Q&A with two young dancers then home and straight to bed (when of course the sea sickness started again till I was asleep!)
