Day trip Ostfriesland, Germany

Peter and I made a day trip to Germany today.
While all The Netherlands are celebrating liberation day, we left very early at 4.00 am for Germany, for a day filled with photography.

We captured the sunset near a nice little water mill in Bedekaspel, just north of Emden. After that we had a breakfast in Greetsiel. With the weather being a bit grey we decided to go to Norderney, a wadden island nearby.
We took the 08.40 ferry.
The weather on the island was better, but the light wasn't that great. We explored the island and captured the dunes and grasses on it. Of course we had a nice relaxed lunch/dinner as well.
At 18.15 we returned to the mainland and went to the lighthouse of Pilsum. (There's an extra photo of it!)

When the sun sank behind thick clouds on the horizon, our game was over and we went home again. At 22.45 Peter dropped me off.
