The. Best. Day.

This morning Becci took us up Earl’s Hill with the John Muir students from Mary Webb and it was wonderful. We picked wild garlic and dandelions on the way up and then stopped on an incredible rocky ridge to cook. Gnocchi with wild garlic butter followed by Dandelion fritters, with views to die for. I wish I’d have got to do this kind of stuff when I was in school. A couple of good mentoring session followed by some outrageously hilarious lunch clubs. Love those kids.

After school I drove down to Malvern to meet the family for the First Camping Trip of the Year. Oh yes. Genuinely thrilled at the sound of tapping in pegs and unzipping zips.

Fish and Chips from the campsite horsebox. Beer. Early night in the tent. Glorious.
