Starling's Wings

A big flap on the bird feeder today. I don't know if this one was using its wings for balance or to keep the others away but it was using up a lot of engery to get a seed or two.

I've really been nowhere today. After my usual Saturday 09:00 chat with friends in Edinburgh and West Wales I made myself sit at the desk and clear some of the deck. This included sending off an invoice for some of the evaluation work so that was well worthwhile. Changed the bedding, hung the washing out. Spent ages in the garden pottering.

There's really very little to report and I quite like things that way.
