Services
We left Devon this morning and made our way home. The traffic on the motorway was surprisingly light and we made good time arriving at Bristol services in time for morning coffee. After refreshments we continued on to Gloucester Services where we stopped for lunch. The weather was still good and we had a very pleasant meal from their deli counter, sitting outside by the lake. Gloucester Services has to be one of the best motorway service stops in the country. The grass roof has matured over the last couple of years and now has a selection of wild flowers growing there. We took a walk around their Community Growing area, it is real countryside, it's hard to imagine the M5 is just over the way.
Our next stop was Worcester where we had a walk around Diglis then over to Emma's to see our lovely grandson. After an hour's play and a cup of tea we finally came home to unpack.
