The den tree

A good day! S had a long morning of solo imaginative play in her room, great as it meant I got all the laundry put away uninterrupted. After lunch S and I went for a walk, 2 miles in total! I was very proud of her. We had a lovely time chatting about the butterflies, wildflowers and birds we saw. We met a big family of American tourists who had been on a long walk to the point, they had a little girl the same age as S. We stopped to talk for 10 minutes and S made friends with the little girl and they were running about together holding hands and playing, very sweet. Blip is of the den tree, which during lockdown because the secret hangout area for all the children in the village.
