Humber Bridge
Well as I was back in Hull today I thought I would take the time to take a photo of the bridge, my new best friend (back to Hull again tomorrow).
My Dad help build this bridge and he was there when the Queen came to officially open it. With a centre span of 1,410 metres (4,626 ft) and a total length of 2,220 metres (7,283 ft), the Humber Bridge was the longest single-span suspension bridge in the world for 16 years. Sadly it doesnt hold this record any more.
The wind and rain has been terrible today but the sunshine is still coming through, even managed to get my washing dry on the line.
