Mother's Day in Australia

Today is Mother's Day in Australia. Today I wanted to honour my Mum,  Jessie (1913 - 2009),  by blipping  two of my favourite photos taken with her. The first one was taken in 1969, over half a century ago, when I was 20. It was taken in one of those photo booths that could often be found in railway stations. The second photo was taken in 2008 when we were celebrating Mum's 95th birthday.

Mum was a quiet, self-contained, generous and gracious woman. We were so blessed to have her.
